PRANG KELAN LNG...
(The Beginning)

Big things come in small packages, they say.

Good things come when you least expect them.
Our story began in the most simplest of ways – by means of a translation. It was quite funny actually, now that I recall it. I remember this one Polish guy – that was a friend of a friend of mine and didn’t go to the same school as I did – said something to me in Polish. Naturally, I didn’t understand what it meant. So I planned to ask someone in class that was Polish. I remember approaching him, in my shy manner. He was with his close friend, Damian. Damian was also Polish. It was recess time, but since it was freezing cold and there was a snow storm outside, recess was spent indoors. I asked him if he knew what the phrase meant. Once I asked, they both blushed, smiled, and looked at one another. Then they looked back at me.
“What?” I demanded.
They ignored the question and instead asked me why I was asking them the meaning of the phrase. So I explained to them what happened. By the end it, Damian ended up on the floor laughing. Kamli on the other hand was still blushing and smiling. With this I got even more confused and suspicious. So I asked,
“What does it mean? o_O”
They wouldn’t tell me what it meant. Instead, Kamil looked at Damian as if asking for help. But Damian backed away with his hands up in a gesture that was as if he had just been arrested, with an expression that read, “Tough luck man. She’s all yours. You're on your own..:P" written on his face. Damian laughed as Kamil tried to find the words to explain the meaning of the phrase.
“Let’s just say that, that guy must really like you. :) :P”
That was all Kamil said. Damian snickered. With this I tried to put together all the pieces of the puzzle. It was the month of February. Just a few days after Valentines..Just a few days after that friend of a friend of mine told me “the phrase”. Oh Shoot!...It all made sense. I later on figured out that it was Polish for “I love you.” :O They must have been observing my facial expressions as I was thinking, because when I realized what it meant, Damian – who seemed very much amused – blurted out,
“Bingo! She’s got it!”, with a big grin that immediately followed a massive guffaw.
Kamil seemed relieved that he didn’t have to explain any further. I – on the other hand – was then the one who blushed immediately after. I thought,
“What the Heck?! :-S.. OMG this is sooo embarrassing! :|”
I thanked them, then rushed to another part of the classroom and pretended to be buzy with something, while all the while, was trying to hide my embarrassment.
Little did i know, this was our crack of dawn.
